Highway eagle

On a recent trip to Smithers, BC I passed at least 50 bald eagles near Houston, BC. They were perched in a great stretch of cottonwood trees named eagle alley. The problem was that they were too far away to make any decent photographs. As luck would have it, just west of Houston I came across four more bald eagles that let me get quite close, right along the side of the highway. Here’s my favourite.
