A PLACE FOR THINGS

I’m blessed with two great kids. So. Much. Fun.

Those that can ski, ski. Those that can work a camera, shoot. Just to be clear, I am behind the lens. Pictured, my brother-in-law showing my son the line for a sweet jump.

My daughter decided that I was fair game in our snowball fight. I suppose she’s right since I threw first.

Last week I took a quick trip to Vancouver. I didn’t bother to bring my “big” camera since the trip didn’t lend itself to focusing on photography. That said, it’s difficult for me to avoid taking a photo or three.
Here are a few of the photos I ending up taking. I was pretty happy with how my trusty iPhone worked out in the city.

Another great stop at the Nechako River this morning. I’ll admit that my ears still hurt a bit. It is stupid cold right now. The temperature was -34℃ when I took this shot. So worth it though. I’ve doubled back to this spot two times now. Each time the light was better than when I first wanted to stop.
