Lessons in Wildlife Spotting

I had a lesson in wildlife spotting over the weekend. Feel free to follow along.

The basic view of the mountain at Kasiks in British Columbia shot at 150mm. Yes, there is wildlife here that was visible with the naked eye from the exact spot these photos were taken.

Here we’ve bumped up to a shot at 600mm. It’s a fair bit more obvious now.

Here’s a little more help. I’ve circled our mountain goat at 150mm.

And here is the mountain goat again, circled at 600mm.

And the last version, a 100% crop of the 600mm shot. Quite blurry, but you can tell it’s a goat. It is nuts where these goats will spend there time. Even from this far away, it looks a touch more than precarious to me.
