Up at 3:30am. On the road before 4am. 8°C at the summit. Windy. Really, really, windy. Then this at 6:06am. Ahhhhhh.
This Canadian Air Forces CF-18 Hornet was in Prince George over the weekend. The pilot has family here and was gracious enough to show off his machinery to the city. I was pretty happy to get a shot of it after missing it's first pass. Fortunately the second pass felt like it was in our backyard. So cool.
The Japanese are known for embracing technology. They are also known for using the tool that best suits the job. As much as it felt like every other vehicle in Japan was a Toyota, there were a lot of bikes as well. The sidewalks had sides for pedestrians, and sides for bicycles. Why drive when a bike gets you there faster, and cleaner. Always advancing.
